If you’re a young person between the ages of 12 and 24, there’s someone here for you to talk to. We can help you with a range of issues from housing to health, education and employment, alcohol and other drugs and other personal matters. EASY provides information, referral, support, court support and advocacy. Just ring us to make an appointment or call in to the service during drop in hours.
EASY also provides safe, affordable medium and long-term accommodation for young people aged between 16 and 24 years. When we have a vacancy, it can take up to 4-6 weeks from first contact with us before you can move in. This is because we’re not a crisis or emergency service, and we have to meet you, check references, arrange for meetings with housemates and other tenants etc.
If you find yourself in urgent need of accommodation, we can still help you look for somewhere to stay that will meet your immediate needs. We also recommend that you contact the Youth Accommodation Association as they can provide you with a list of current vacancies in refuges and how you could access these services.
